The Shanghai Xuhui District People’s Court recently ruled that the use and publication of Impact Factor data on the websites and mobile apps operated by Shanghai Macistra Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. constitutes infringement and should immediately stop the relevant copyright infringement.
Clarivate expressed support for the ruling of the Xuhui District People’s Court, and solemnly declared: Any unauthorized use of our relevant databases or obtaining the content of our database by any enterprise or individual who has infringed our intellectual property rights and should immediately stop such infringement. Any infringing person or entity that provides our database account number and/or database content without authorization shall immediately cease the infringing activity. For the aforementioned infringement of any enterprise or individual, our company will take measures in accordance with the law to resolutely protect its legitimate rights and interests.
